ZenTrades Work Order Attachment
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 23, 2026
This policy explains how the ZenTrades Work Order Attachment Chrome extension processes information while helping a user attach the related Work Order PDF to a ZenTrades invoice email.
Information the extension processes
The extension may temporarily process:
- The current ZenTrades ticket identifier.
- Limited ZenTrades authentication and company headers required to request the corresponding Work Order.
- Customer, job, and work-order information contained in the generated Work Order PDF.
- The generated PDF file while it is being attached to the invoice email window.
How information is used
Information is used only to identify the relevant ticket, request the associated Work Order from ZenTrades, download the PDF, and attach it to the invoice email prepared by the user. The extension does not send the email; the user remains responsible for reviewing and sending it.
Storage and retention
Authentication headers, ticket details, and PDF contents are kept only temporarily in browser memory. They are not written to persistent extension storage. Temporary data is discarded when the related tab closes, Chrome suspends the extension service worker, or the user disables the extension.
The extension stores one local preference indicating whether the user has enabled the extension and accepted its disclosure.
Sharing and transfers
The extension communicates only with the ZenTrades application, ZenTrades service API, and the ZenTrades-provided file host needed to retrieve the Work Order. Information is not sold, rented, used for advertising, or transferred to unrelated third parties.
Remote code
The extension does not execute remote code. All executable JavaScript and CSS are packaged with the extension. Network responses are processed only as data or PDF files.
Security
Network requests use HTTPS. The extension limits its host access to the ZenTrades domains required for its single purpose and does not access unrelated websites.
User choices
Users can disable the extension at any time from its popup or remove it through Chrome. Disabling the extension clears temporary session information held by the extension.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The extension's use of information received from browser and ZenTrades access complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the extension's single user-facing purpose.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the extension's functionality or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated whenever material changes are made.
